Our Classes

Creative Dance
(2.5 - 4 years)

Designed for our youngest dancers, this fully bilingual introductory class uses age-appropriate music, movement, and creative activities to build strength, balance, coordination, rhythm, flexibility, and timing. Offered on Saturday mornings, it provides a fun and positive environment where children discover the joy and magic of dance. Proper dance attire and shoes are required.

Nursery Ballet
(5 - 6 years)

Introduces classroom structure, dance etiquette, and the fundamentals of dance and music in a fun, encouraging environment. Dancers develop gross motor skills, flexibility, rhythm, confidence, and creativity while building a strong foundation for formal ballet technique. Proper dance attire and shoes are required.

Nursery Tap
(5 - 6 years)

Builds on the skills developed in earlier classes, including strength, timing, balance, rhythm, and coordination. Dancers are introduced to basic tap technique and terminology through age-appropriate exercises that help build a strong foundation for future tap training. Proper dance attire and shoes are required.

Ballet
(7 years +)

Ballet provides the technical foundation for all dance styles. Classes focus on proper placement, posture, alignment, turnout, strength, flexibility, and artistry while developing discipline and grace. Strong ballet training enhances overall technique, improves jumps, turns, and movement quality, and helps reduce the risk of injury, making it an invaluable part of every dancer's training. A strict ballet dress code is enforced : Black leotard, black dance shorts, tights and pink ballet shoes.

Pointe work

is added to the ballet curriculum when the dancer’s technical achievements and strength reaches a level where the challenge of pointe work would benefit their classical ballet training.

Tap
(7 years +)

Designed for dancers who love to make music with their feet, our tap classes develop rhythm, musicality, coordination, and syncopated footwork. Dancers learn traditional tap technique through progressive exercises and combinations that build a solid foundation. Proper dance attire and shoes are required.

Jazz
(7 years +)

A dynamic and energetic dance style that combines strong technical training with expressive movement. Classes focus on developing flexibility, strength, coordination, musicality, turns, jumps, and performance skills while learning age-appropriate choreography in a positive and supportive environment. Proper dance attire and shoes are required.

Hip Hop
(8 years +)

Inspires dancers to move with confidence, creativity and individuality. Classes incorporate foundational technique, across-the-floor progressions, coordination drills, freestyle and age-appropriate choreography to develop musicality, body awareness and performance skills. Dancers learn to connect with the music, the movement and each other while gaining an appreciation for the grooves, culture and artistry of Hip Hop. Proper dance attire and shoes are required.

Musical Theatre
(9 years +)

Step into the world of Broadway! Combining dance, acting, and singing this class brings stories and characters to life through movement and performance. Dancers develop stage presence, musicality, confidence, character development, and expressive performance skills while learning to connect with both the audience and their fellow performers in a fun, energetic and supportive environment. Previous Jazz training is highly recommended. Proper dance attire and shoes are required.

Modern
(13 years +)

Modern dance encourages dancers to explore creativity, emotion, and storytelling through movement. Classes focus on strength, control, fluidity, balance, body awareness, and artistic expression. Because Modern builds on the technical foundations learned in Ballet and Jazz, we recommend dancers have previous experience in one or both styles before enrolling. A strong technical background helps dancers develop proper alignment, coordination, strength, and control, allowing them to move safely while fully exploring the expressive qualities of Modern dance. Proper dance attire is required.

Adult Classes
(19 years +)

Whether you are returning to dance or stepping into the studio for the first time, our adult program has something for everyone. Our Full-Time Adult Tap class is intended for experienced dancers looking to continue their training throughout the season. For those seeking more flexibility, our Part-Time Sessions are designed for adults of all experience levels. These 4 - 5 week sessions offer a fun, low-commitment opportunity to stay active, try new dance styles, and enjoy dancing in a supportive environment.

We love keeping our adult classes fresh! Our schedule shapes up each year based on registration, meaning we build the final lineup around the dance styles you're interested in.
